A collection inspired by nature, design, and modern art
Brâncusi and the quest for essence
Before devoting myself to jewelry creation, I worked in the worlds of design and sculpture. These disciplines taught me to refine forms and seek the perfect balance between volume and lightness. This is how I discovered the work of Constantin Brâncusi, a visionary sculptor whose quest for pure essence resonates deeply with me.
Brâncusi is known for his smooth, minimalist forms that reveal the very soul of the subjects he works with. His sculptures, such as The Kiss and The Bird in Space, are both seemingly simple and strikingly profound. This approach directly influences my jewelry design: each piece in the Galet collection is designed to capture the organic softness of pebbles and the absolute purity of design.

Normandy: Authentic Inspiration
Growing up in Normandy means accepting that the wind is part of your daily life, that the sky changes from blue to gray in less time than it takes to say "fog," and that pebbles often replace the sand beneath your feet. It was in this ever-changing yet fascinating setting that I developed my eye for natural and imperfect shapes.
The pebbles I collected as a child all had a story: polished by water, sculpted by time, unique in their irregularities. It is this balance between softness and robustness that inspired me for this collection.
A Three-Step Creation Process
Each piece of jewelry in the Galet collection is the result of meticulous work, combining craftsmanship and innovation. My creative process unfolds in three essential stages:
1. Drawing: The First Draft
It all begins with a sketch. Armed with a pencil and a blank sheet of paper, I let my imagination run wild. I draw inspiration from the natural shapes of pebbles, their harmonious asymmetry, and their softness to the touch. My experience in sculpture helps me visualize the volume from this first step and anticipate the final result.

2. Prototyping: Bringing Ideas to Life
Once the design is defined, I create prototypes to test the shapes in volume. This phase allows me to explore each curve from a new angle, adjust proportions, and ensure that the jewelry will be as comfortable as it is aesthetically pleasing.

3. 3D Modeling: Precision at the Service of Creation
Thanks to 3D modeling, I can refine every detail with pinpoint accuracy. This technology allows me to visualize the jewelry from every angle and ensure its production faithful to my initial vision.

A piece of jewelry like a captured emotion
For me, jewelry is more than just a shape. It's an emotion, a frozen moment, a connection between art and the wearer. Like Brâncuși, I seek to get to the essentials: removing the superfluous to retain only the purity of the design.
