Every Mayrena jewel begins its story in Normandy, in my atelier. This is where creativity flows and ideas come to life. But before reaching you, each piece goes through several key stages:

THE SKETCH

Every jewel starts with an idea. A pencil, my notebook, and a dose of inspiration — that’s where it all begins.

FROM SKETCH TO REALITY

To see if the idea holds up, I move to the tangible. I test, adjust, and explore how it interacts with the body.

3D MODELING

Like drawing with absolute precision — every detail is explored from every angle. This step is essential for clear communication with the manufacturer.

1. MANUFACTURING TECHNIQUES

Wire Shaping

Since the beginning, I’ve used this technique to design and bring new ideas to life. Each metal rod is carefully cut, shaped using tools and templates, then polished by hand for a perfect finish.

Lost-Wax Casting: An Age-Old Technique

An ancient technique that allows precise metal casting from a wax model. This is how Mayrena Paris jewelry is made.

2. POLISHING AND ENGRAVING

Each piece is polished by hand in our workshops, with meticulous attention to detail. The final touch: a hallmark, carefully engraved, proudly bearing the Mayrena signature.

3. HIGH-QUALITY PLATING AND QUALITY CONTROL

Each piece of jewelry is plated with a 5-micron thick layer of gold, which is above the industry average.

Every creation undergoes a rigorous quality control process, ensuring certification by the prestigious Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) label.

OUR HALLMARKS

If you pay close attention, you will notice shapes inside your jewelry. These shapes have different meanings. For Mayrena jewelry, there are three distinct hallmarks:

1. Gold-Plated Jewelry

This hallmark belongs to our manufacturer. It certifies that the jewelry is Made in France and plated with 18-karat gold , with a minimum thickness of 3 microns .

2. Solid Silver or Vermeil Jewelry

This oval hallmark , called the responsibility hallmark , belongs to Mayrena Paris . It authorizes the legal import of jewelry in France. The symbol (a horseman) pays tribute to the equestrian world that inspires our creations.

This master hallmark , shaped like a diamond , identifies the workshop that crafted the jewelry.

Our jewelry is designed to be durable while respecting responsibility and ethical values supported by the RJC label .
