1. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter “T&Cs”) set out the entire obligations of the parties. The Buyer is deemed to accept them without reservation.
They are accessible on the Site and shall prevail, where applicable, over any other version or conflicting document. The Seller and the Buyer agree that these T&Cs exclusively govern their relationship. The Seller reserves the right to amend them from time to time. They shall apply as soon as they are published online. Should any sales condition be missing, it shall be governed by the practices in force in the distance selling sector for companies based in France.
2. PURPOSE
These conditions define the terms under which Mayrena Paris sells jewelry to its customers, designed by the creator Alexandra David. The jewelry is available in vermeil, meaning 925 silver coated with 18-carat gold plating with a thickness of 5 microns, and in solid 925 silver. They are partly manufactured in France and in Thailand in an RJC-certified workshop. All pieces are handmade, giving each item a unique, artisanal character rather than an industrial one, and are sold via the website www.mayrenaparis.fr (the “Site”).
These T&Cs apply exclusively to sales made by Mayrena Paris to buyers acting as consumers (the “Customer(s)”) and detail the ordering, payment, delivery, and return conditions.
The Customer declares having read the T&Cs. Acceptance is confirmed by validating the order and is enforceable under Article 1119 of the French Civil Code.
3. PRE-CONTRACTUAL INFORMATION
The Customer acknowledges having received these T&Cs in a clear and understandable manner prior to placing an order.
4. CUSTOMER
The Customer must be an adult individual with legal capacity acting as a consumer. When placing their first order, the Customer must either create an account or order as a guest. Required information includes name, surname, postal address, and email.
All information provided must be complete, accurate, and up to date.
MAYRENA Paris reserves the right to refuse any order that does not meet these criteria.
5. PRODUCT INFORMATION
The Products governed by these T&Cs are those listed on the Site and indicated as sold and shipped by the Seller, subject to availability.
Products are described on their respective pages. However, the Seller shall not be held liable for any errors or omissions. Product images are not contractually binding.
For vermeil jewelry, it is recommended to remove and store items before cleaning, DIY activities, sports, swimming, showering, or sleeping, in order to avoid contact with water, chemicals, hydroalcoholic gel, or household products.
Over time, these elements may alter the jewelry. Please refer to the “Care Instructions” on the website.
A patented ceramic finish is applied at the end of production to extend the life of the gold plating.
Mayrena Paris jewelry is designed to be worn as shown in photos. Do not swallow, bite, place in the mouth, expose to heat sources, or place in ovens or microwaves.
For any questions, the Customer may contact Mayrena Paris at +33 7 68 09 79 29 or contact@mayrena.fr.

ANNEX 1 – Provisions relating to legal warranties
Article L 217-4 of the French Consumer Code: The seller is required to deliver goods that comply with the contract and is liable for any lack of conformity existing at the time of delivery. The seller is also liable for defects resulting from packaging, assembly instructions, or installation when this has been made their responsibility under the contract or carried out under their responsibility.
Article L 217-5 of the French Consumer Code: To comply with the contract, the goods must: 1° Be suitable for the use normally expected of similar goods and, where applicable: correspond to the description given by the seller and possess the qualities that the seller presented to the buyer as a sample or model present the qualities that a buyer may legitimately expect in view of public statements made by the seller, the producer or their representative, particularly in advertising or labeling 2° Or present the characteristics defined by mutual agreement between the parties or be suitable for any special use sought by the buyer, made known to the seller and accepted by them.
Article L 217-7 of the French Consumer Code: Any lack of conformity that appears within twenty four months from delivery of the goods is presumed to have existed at the time of delivery, unless proven otherwise. For second hand goods, this period is set at six months. The seller may challenge this presumption if it is not compatible with the nature of the goods or the alleged defect.
Article L 217-9 of the French Consumer Code: In the event of a lack of conformity, the buyer may choose between repair or replacement of the goods. However, the seller may refuse the buyer’s choice if it results in a cost that is clearly disproportionate compared to the alternative, taking into account the value of the goods or the significance of the defect. The seller must then proceed, unless impossible, according to the option not chosen by the buyer.
Article L 217-10 of the French Consumer Code: If repair and replacement are impossible, the buyer may return the goods and be refunded or keep the goods and receive a partial refund. The same option is available if the requested or agreed solution cannot be implemented within one month following the buyer’s claim or if it cannot be carried out without major inconvenience for the buyer given the nature of the goods and their intended use. The sale may not be canceled if the lack of conformity is minor.
Article L 217-11 of the French Consumer Code: The application of Articles L 217-9 and L 217-10 is carried out at no cost to the buyer. These provisions do not prevent the awarding of damages.
Article L 217-12 of the French Consumer Code: Actions resulting from lack of conformity are subject to a limitation period of two years from delivery of the goods.
Article L 217-16 of the French Consumer Code: When the buyer requests the seller, during the commercial warranty period granted at the time of purchase or repair of movable goods, to carry out repairs covered by the warranty, any immobilization period of at least seven days is added to the remaining duration of the warranty. This period runs from the buyer’s request for intervention or from the availability of the goods for repair if this occurs after the request.
Article 1641 of the French Civil Code: The seller is bound by the warranty for hidden defects in the goods sold that render them unfit for their intended use or that diminish their use to such an extent that the buyer would not have purchased them or would have paid a lower price had they been aware of them.
Article 1644 of the French Civil Code: Under Articles 1641 and 1643, the buyer may choose to return the goods and receive a full refund or keep the goods and receive a partial refund.
Article 1648 paragraph 1 of the French Civil Code: Actions resulting from hidden defects must be brought by the buyer within two years from the discovery of the defect.
